Peacefully on May 31, Stanley passed away at the age of 92.
Stan/Stash/Pops will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Susan (Rod Kotello), grandchildren Daniel and Katie; sister, Violet Marek; numerous nieces, nephews and their families; and the Burak family. He was predeceased by his wife of 20 years, Valerie; brothers, John and Joe; sisters, Jean and Frances; and girlfriend Dianna Burak.
Born near Garson, Stanley was a farmer who later worked in construction and agriculture. A devoted family man, he was kind to others, and enjoyed vegetable gardening, playing bingo, listening to polka music and visiting neighbours on his walks through Garson.
The family extends their deepest gratitude to Kin Place Personal Care Home and the Beausejour Hospital for their care, compassion and kindness.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
A funeral service will be held at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Garson on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
